Help Changing Secondary to Monk
So I recently got my Elem ascended and was wondering what the best way to go about completing the quest in order to change my secondary to monk (it's Necro right now and I rarely use necro spells) It says I'm supposed to kill the Eater of Souls, or something like that, but whenever i get get near it disapears and Scarabs come like mad. I can usually manage to draw a few away at a time, but then they stick in groups of 6+ and my party gets overwhelmed. On the off chance I do beat the first group, or get close to, a second group of maybe 12 appear, and by then I can't do it. Any ideas on what skills I should equip? and just help on strategy for it? I also use Henchies, so that's probably a bad call, but it's hard to find a party to help you with this quest. Thanks in advance.
P.S. I hope I put this in the right forum.

Take the Monks path in Seekers to change it to Monk but you will have buy most of your skills though and cap the elites. You can get the non elites at emberlight camp.Try search next time though.

No, no. I know I have to do the Monk's Path Quest, but how do I complete it?

Try this.
Quote:
Beware: The Eater of Souls is a Jade Scarab boss and prior to appearing you will be flooded by four spawns of four Jade Scarabs. The boss will only stay attackable for a moment, then will burrow into the ground until all the scarabs have been killed. Best to approach the spot on the map, have some spawn, pull them away and fight them. If you fight at the mark on the map you will be overwhelmed.

Good luck, Stahls.
Yes, you can do it with henches. Just make sure that you use your aggro circle to draw the scarabs away from spawn point, don't attack at range because then the henches will run in there and most likely die.
It's the toughest Path quest, but you can do it.
